When we launched Flapjack Creative we knew that having last names on the door would have been tragically "meh." So we came up with a sticky (trendy ad term!) name and look and feel that fit the midwest work ethic and approach of the agency. Something must have been working, because after opening the creative agency in a conservative city during the worst recession ever with zero clients, it survived nearly 7 years.
