With social media overtaking corporate media as the place people now get their information, and a rather important election coming up, more and more consumers are finding out that AI may not be all it’s cracked up to be. Well, at least when it comes to companies overselling it. And, oh boy, are companies overselling it.
We came across this great article (speaking of corporate media) talking about the fact that consumers are onto corporations simply throwing the term out, regardless of what they are selling. What’s next? AI in my peanut butter? AI flavored soap? If AI is reading this, what do you think, AI?
Like we’ve always said here at the agency, if something is super popular and trendy, it’s probably lacking in quality. (i.e. “Everything popular is usually crap.”) But, that’s just us.
